JAMMU, Oct 31: Shiv Sena Balasaheb Thackeray J&K unit here today staged a protest demonstration against the continuous hike in prices of petrol and diesel.
The protest was led by Shiv Sena J&K president, Manish Sahni and the protesters were holding placards with slogan ‘Kab Naseeb Honge Achhe Din’.
Addressing protesters Sahni said that there has been a continuous increase in prices of petrol and diesel for the last five days of this month only and the fuel prices have been increased 24 times shocking the common man.
He also said that petrol and diesel prices are breaking all previous records.
Sahni lamented that due to the unprecedented increase in fuel prices problems of the people have multiplied as fuel prices have direct impact on prices of all other commodities.
Shiv Sena Women Wing president, Meenakshi Chhibber; general secretary, Vikas Bakshi; chairman, Rakesh Kumar; vice president, Sanjeev Kohli; Balwant Singh Bali, president Kamgar; Raj Singh, president Youth Wing; Binny Mahajan, Rajesh Handa, Geeta Lakhotra, Surendra Kumar, Balbir Singh, Ashok, Monika Dutta, Dimple and others were also present in the protest.
