JAMMU, July 23: J&K unit of Shiv Sena Bala Saheb Thackeray here today staged a protest demonstration against phone tapping and took out funeral procession of smart phone.
Dozens of Shiv Sainiks led by their J&K president, Manish Sahni raised slogans against phone tapping.
Addressing protesters Sahni demanded a high level probe into phone tapping incident and termed it as intrusion into ones privacy.
He claimed that politicians, journalists, industrialists and even the common man is now scared of using smart phones after the phone tapping incident came to fore.
Shiv Sena Women Wing president, Meenakshi Chhibber; general secretary, Vikas Bakshi; chairman Rakesh Gupta; vice president, Vikas Dewan; secretary, Praveen Gupta, Geeta Lakhotra, Balbir Singh, Rajesh Handa, Tarsem, Meena Devi, Surjit Kumar and others were also present in the protest.
