JAMMU, June 5: Shiv Sena J&K unit today held a protest demonstration against the J&K administration’s failure to stop the unabated killings of minorities in the Kashmir Valley.
In this context, Shiv Sainiks under the leadership of Manish Sahni, President J&K Shiv Sena, assembled near Chhani Railway Chowk Jammu and staged strong protest against the Government. The protesters raised slogans against the UT administration’s failure to eliminate terrorism.
Sahni said that situation in Kashmir Valley under Modi Government is even worse than 1990s with free for all situation offered to terrorists, who are playing with the lives of common masses as never before.
“The way the terrorists are targeting people in Valley it seems that BJP Government has surrendered before the terror mongers and has conceded submission,” he said, adding that the need of time is to reinforce rule of law and stop the civilian killings at once or it will be too late to bring things under control.
“After 32 years, once again Kashmiri Hindus are being forced to migrate from the Kashmir Valley. BJP Government, which boasted of changes in Jammu and Kashmir and garnered votes for the restoration of peace in Kashmir and abrogation of Article 370, has been exposed,” he said.
Sahni said that neither the Home Minister nor the Central leaders of the BJP reached to meet the families of the victims of the targeted killings in Kashmir and express their condolences. He appealed to Home Minister Amit Shah to take tough decisions on the situation in Kashmir and visit the Kashmir Valley.
Meanwhile, dozens of youths today joined Shiv Sena during a program organized at party office in Jammu.
Ramgarh President Raj Singh welcomed the newly joined members who included Naib Sarpanch Salar Rajesh Kumar, Varindra Kumar, Praveen, Ajay Sharma, Girdhari Lal, Sunny, Rohit Kumar, Vicky, Praveen Kumar, Surjit Kumar, Rajkumar and Yashpal.
