Shiv Sena seeks clarification on Amarnath Yatra

JAMMU, June 16: Shiv Sena Bala Saheb Thackeray Jammu and Kashmir unit has appealed to Shri Amarnath Shrine Board (SASB) and Lt Governor Manoj Sinha to break the silence and clarify the stand regarding the holy Shri Amarnathji Yatra .
Addressing media persons during a press conference held at Shiv Sena Party State office here today,  president J&K UT, Manish Sahni expressed hope for early resumption of the yatra after authorities issued the permission to Langer operators on the Amarnath Yatra. Sahni  appealed to the Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha to clarify the confusion surrounding the conduct of this year’s Shri Amarnathji Yatra.
He said that the permission letters issued to some Langer service providers has raised hopes of resumption of the Yatra. As information received from Langer operartor, Shri Amarnath Shrine Board,  has given the permission  to some selected Langer service providers on 15-06-2021 according to which Langer service is allowed from June 28 to August 22.
He said that the devotees are eagerly waiting for the announcement of the resumption of the Yatra and now after this  permission, the Shrine Board should immediately announce the dates for the resumption of the Yatra at the earliest so that maximum number of devotees can have Darshan of the holy Him Shivalingam.
Sawhney said that the doors of all the religious places have been opened for the devotees. Even the permission to visit the Taj Mahal has been given, and as such there is no reason in withholding the announcement of commencement of the holy Shri Amarnathji Yatra.  He said Langer service providers are disappointed over the permission being granted to only selected people.
