JAMMU, Apr 7: Shiv Sena (Eknath Shinde Group) will support BJP candidates from Jammu Division in the upcoming Lok Sabha (LS) elections.
This was stated by State president of the Party, Ashwani Gupta while addressing a press conference at Press Club, Jammu. Ashwani Gupta was accompanied by State general secretary Rakesh Kak, State secretary (organization) Sanjay Bhat and State youth president Ajay Dhar.
Ashwani Gupta said that as per the instructions from the Party high command, Chief Minister of Maharashtra Eknath Shinde, Shiv Sena will support BJP candidates from Jammu Division.
Gupta said that they have detailed discussions with Jugal Kishore and Dr Jitendra Singh regarding the election campaign. He said Shiv Sena will share the information with all the district presidents of Jammu division so that they can approach the people and seek votes and support for the BJP candidates.
While praising Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Gupta said that it is the vision and will power of Narendra Modi that Bharat is becoming powerful in every aspect. He said the day is not far when Bharat will be ‘Vishwa Guru’ under the dynamic leadership of Modi.
Gupta stated that people of Bharat are getting benefits of various welfare schemes like Ujwala scheme, Ayushmaan card, Har Ghar Nal Mission, Housing for All, free ration, launched by Modi Government. He expressed hope that people will vote for strong Bharat and will make Narendra Modi come back will full majority.
While answering a question, Gupta said if BJP contests from Kashmir Division, then too Shiv Sena will extend its full support to their candidates.
