JAMMU, Mar 10: Shiv Sena (UBT) Jammu and Kashmir unit has accused the administration and police officials of impeding the party’s growth and promotion in the Union Territory.
Addressing a press conference at the state central office in Jammu, State Chief Manish Sahni blamed the authorities for hindering their scheduled public dialogue under the “Pehle Adhikaar Phir Sarkar” campaign.
According to Sahni, despite timely notification to the administration about the program, Shiv Sena leaders were detained upon reaching the press enclave in Srinagar and taken to Kothibagh Police Station.
He lamented being held in custody for about two hours and then forcibly sent back to Jammu, labelling such actions as a violation of their constitutional rights.
Sahni accused the police administration of colluding with the ruling party to stifle opposition voices, particularly Shiv Sena, from expanding and propagating their ideology.
