JAMMU, Sept 20: A meeting of Purohit Sabha Martand Trust was held at Tirath Raj Mattan in Anantnag district today under the chairmanship of M K Yogi its president in which it was decided that on the auspicious day of first Navratra the newly constructed Shiv Shakti Pariwar will be opened for devotees with the Murti Sathapana on September 25.
As per a release, on the occasion a Mahaya Yagya will also be performed on the occasion. The hawan will culminate with Puranahuti which will be followed by serving of Prashad to devotees.
The president of the Trust also during the meeting highlighted the steps taken by it in providing relief to flood victims in Valley and opening a free langer for stranded people at Martand. Mr Yogi also appealed the Government to intensify relief and rehabilitation measures for the flood victims.
General secretary of Trust Vir Ji Pandita said that elaborate arrangements have been made for the devotees at Tirath Raj Mattan.
