Shiv Shakti Sanastha organises 20th annual hawan

JAMMU, Aug 12: Following all Standing Operating Procedures (SOPs) issued by the Government in wake of COVID-19 pandemic, people from all walks of life thronged Shiv Shakti Mandir on the 20th annual hawan, which was performed in Mandir Complex at Sector-1, Pamposh Colony, Janipur, here.
The function was organized by Shiv Shakti Mandir Sanastha under the supervision of Acting President Subash Sharma for the betterment of the Hindu community, world peace and lifelong members of the Sanstha. The hawan was performed by Vedic Guru and General Secretary of the Sanastha Jai Krishen Khar.
The programme commenced with Kalash Pooja, which was followed by Mahayagya, puran ahuti and satsang by devotees.
A large number of people from different walks of life participated in the function and seek blessings of the Lord Shiva and Mahmaya Jagat Amba.
While speaking on the occasion, Acting President of the Sanastha Subash Sharma and Councillor of the area Surinder Sharma asked the devotees to maintain communal harmony and brotherhood as this is the key for the development of country in general and Union Territory in particular.
They also asked the people to follow the set protocols of COVID-19 pandemic.
Later, prasad was distributed among the devotees residing in Janipur and surrounding areas.
Trilok Singh Negi, Chander Chawla, SK Raina, Rajinder Sharma, BJ Mujoo, CL Bhat, Sunil Hakim, RK Bhan, Vijay Kohli, Amit Parimoo, Ravish Mengi, Temple Priest Baldev, Bhopinder Jamwal and many others attended the function.
