JAMMU, Sept 10: Shiv Shakti Sena, J&K held protest against Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs (FCS&CA) Department, here today.
The party workers along with general masses assembled at Janipur and raised slogans against the department for escalating the rates of the essential commodities and not providing sugar and kerosene oil to the consumers.
While speaking, Rakesh Gupta, President, Shiv Shakti Sena, J&K said that the decision to stop the supply of kerosene oil and sugar is not in the favour of the common masses.
Gupta urged the Government to roll back its decision and allow the supply of essential commodities to the rationees failing which State wide protest will be launched and for any untoward incident, the Government will be responsible.
Among others present were Shiv Deep Gupta, Ashwani Gupta, Sat Pal Sharma, Mohinder Dogra, Kaka, Rahul Gupta and Aman Kumar.
