JAMMU, July 14: The Rotary Club, Jammu city today appointed Shivangi Gupta as its new president and Prashant Kahlon as secretary of the Club for the year 2024-2025.
The announcement in this regard was made by District Governor Elect Rohit Oberoi, who was the chief guest and Installing Officer of the ceremony, held here today.
Speaking on the occasion, outgoing President, Robin Mehta threw light on the programmes of the Club during his presidentship and said that various projects were conducted for improvement of the society.
Newly appointed President, Shivangi Gupta in her address promised to work with great enthusiasm and dedication for the society.
She further added that she will continue the legacy to uphold the Rotary values of service, fellowship and integrity.
Among others who graced the event included former President Sanjeev Vaid, Assistant Governor Chaksu, Jyoti Vaid, Davinder Kaur, Suresh Bala, Paramjeet Kaur and Gurvinder Kaur.
