JAMMU, Jan 30: To chalk out the modalities for celebrating Shivratri Festival, a meeting was held under the chairmanship of Joint Director Tourism, Jammu, Dr Narupa Rai.
It was informed in the meeting that Shivratri Festival will be organised from February 15 to 17, 2015 at Zamant Gufa (Peer Kho) by J&K Tourism Department with active participation of Hotel and Lodges Association, Travel Trade Associations of Jammu and other Social organizations.
During the meeting, it was decided to organize the festival on a grand scale so as to promote the destination in a befitting way and various committees were also constituted for the purpose.
Among others the meeting was attended by Deputy Director Tourism, Publicity, Kewal Krishan, Dy Director Tourism Jammu, Vinakshi Koul, Ravi Mahajan, Chairman, Paryatan Vikas Mandal, Kuldeep Wahi, Vice President, Hotel & Restaurant Association Jammu, Inderjeet Khajuria, President, All Hotel & Lodges Association and representatives of Peer Kho temple.
