RAMBAN, Jan 31: Three cops including a Station House Officer (SHO) have been placed under suspension.
An order by SP Ramban stated that as communicated by Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Police (DKR) Range Headquarters Batote, a departmental action has been taken against Inspector Sandeep Charak, SHO Police Station Ramban; PSI, Mudasir Ahmed of IRP-16 Battalion, presently deployed at Police Station Ramban on probation and Constable, Mubeshar Ahmed for their alleged service misconduct.
These three cops were ordered to be placed under suspension with immediate effect and departmental enquiry has been initiated against them.
The order also stated that these cops will report at DPL Ramban and deposit their uniform articles/arms and ammunition in Store/Kot DPL Ramban.
They will be entitled to draw substance allowances under rule.
Nihar Ranjan, SDPO Gool District Ramban will conduct departmental enquiry into the matter and will submit his findings and recommendation within a week, subject to confirmation by DIGP DKR Range, Headquarters Batote, the order mentioned.
