JAMMU, Apr 2: SHO Lakhanpur in Kathua district Inspector Sumit Sharma today met president Municipal Committee Lakhanpur, Councilors and prominent citizens of Lakhanpur town and reviewed the issues pertaining to encroachments, traffic and COVID management.
Inspector Sharma listened to the demands, issues and grievances raised by the Municipal Committee Lakhanpur, the concerned Councilors and prominent citizens and assured that majority of genuine issues will be address immediately.
Some of the issues which pertained to other authorities will be taken up with them, Sharma said.
The SHO Lakhanpur assured participants of the meeting that police will take all possible measures to ensure hassle free movement of traffic but said COVID management protocol has to be implemented strictly and there will be no leniency on this account.
On their part, the Municipal Committee president, Councilors and prominent citizens assured their full support to Lakhanpur police.
