JAMMU, June 22: DIG Jammu-Kathua range JP Singh today ordered suspension of Sub Inspector Surjit Singh, who had been officiating as SHO Bus Stand police station for past one and a half month.
The DIG had ordered transfer of SI Surjit Singh from Jammu to Samba district. He had reportedly not joined his new place of posting.
The DIG Jammu has directed DySP Headquarters Samba, Munish Anand to hold an inquiry in the case.
Inspector Sunil Gupta has resumed his duties as SHO Bus Stand.
