UDHAMPUR, Apr 19: On the eve of Bhagwan Parshuram Jyanti, a “Shobha Yatra”  was taken out by the Youva Parshuram Dal, here today.
The religious procession began  from Kargil Hanuman Mandir adjoining  National Highway Udhampur and reached at D N  Palace, Dhar Road after  passing through Domail, Barrian, Salathia Chowk, Court Road, Mukerjee Bazar, Dabber Chowk, Gole Market, Main Bazar, Chabutra Bazar and Talab Sallian area.
A large numbers of devotees accompanied the  Shobha Yatra, which comprised of   tableaux reflecting Hindu  culture and scenes associated with the epic history Bhagwan Parshuram. Shobha Yatra was warmly welcomed by the Udhampur people.
Pawan Gupta, Minister of State for Finance and Information Technology and  MLA Udhampur,  was honored by the volunteers of Youva Parshuram Dal.
The Minister  assured the people that he would  provide all possible assistance in construction of the temple of Bhagwan Parshuram.
Earlier, SHO Udhampur Mahesh Sharma flagged off the Shobha Yatra.
At D N  Palace, Pyuesh Shastri delivered the preachings of Bhagwan Parshuram. It was followed by a Bhandara for the devotees.
