Shodh Sansthan cancels Ganga Dushera programme

JAMMU, May 26: Pt Prem Nath Shastri Sanskritik Shodh Sansthan has decided to cancel the Ganga Dushera programme which was to be held at Shadipora in district Ganderbal of Central Kashmir in view of prevailing situation in the Valley and recent killing of a community youth Rahul Bhat.
The Sansthan chairman, Pt Omkar Nath Shastri while disclosing this said that Sansthan had decided to perform religious rituals of all who died due to the COVID Pandemic during last two years at Shadipora but the barbaric killing of a community youth and present situation in the Valley has enforced the Sansthan to cancel the programme.
Shastri has also appealed the Lt Governor, Manoj Sinha to ensure security of all PM package employees as well as other minorities in Valley besides relocating the package employees to Jammu in view of prevailing security scenario in Kashmir.
