JAMMU, Dec 18: Choudhary Shokat Gujjar, president, J&K Gujjar and Bakarwal Federation and J&K SC/ST/OBC/Dalit Samaj Coordination Committee, has appealed to the whole community to vote and support Vikram Malhotra, Congress candidate from Jammu East Constituency and Raman Bhalla, Congress candidate from Gandhi Nagar Constituency in the ongoing Assembly elections in order to put on hold the divisive agenda of communal forces in Jammu region.
Addressing a press conference here today, Ch Shokat Gujjar said, “We have decided to extend our whole-hearted supported to Vikram Malhotra in Jammu East and Raman Bhalla in Gandhi Nagar constituency as they both have secular approach and have also worked extensively to safeguard the age-old unity and brotherhood between the different communities.”
“We have unanimously decided that leaving behind of our party-lines we will fully support Vikram Malhotra and Raman Bhalla in these Assembly elections,” he asserted and added that they want to send both popular leaders in new State Assembly, so that our issues are addressed in a proper manner.”
