RAJOURI, Jan 13: The family members of Shoket Ali, hailing from Fatehpur Danna village in district Rajouri, whose body was recovered under mysterious circumstances about 18 days ago, have demanded justice and fair investigation into the case.
Wazir Mohd, victim’s father has alleged that his son Shoket was murdered while police authorities were trying to twist the case. He appealed to the district authorities for justice, alleging that his son was murdered about 18 days ago during the night. His body was found under mysterious circumstances next morning.
The tragic incident has left the family devastated. The father of the deceased, is so deeply shocked with the death of his son that he had to be hospitalized at GMC Rajouri for treatment. The family has expressed serious concern over the circumstances leading to his son’s death and is demanding fair and transparent investigation to uncover the truth and bring those to justice who are responsible for it.
The family has made an earnest appeal to SSP Rajouri, Gaurav Sikarwar, urging him to ensure a thorough probe into the matter so that those responsible for the `alleged murder’ could be apprehended.
According to the family, their house, located just a few feet from the main road in Danna Fatehpur, raises questions about how such an incident could occur unnoticed.
When contacted SSP Rajouri, he assured that justice will be done. He informed that a Special Investigation Team (SIT) has been constituted under the supervision of SHO Rajouri, Abid Hussain Shah.
“The investigation is underway, and every possible effort is being made to ensure a fair and proper inquiry. The family’s demand for justice will be our top priority,” SSP Sikarwar said.
