MENDHAR, Aug 8: A tailor’s shop was gutted in Mendhar town during last mid night.
A police spokesman said that shop belonging to one Mohd Aziz, son of Mohd Fazal of Sakhi Maidan, at main market Mendhar suddenly caught fire at around 1 am last night. A watchman noticed this and raised alarm. Later, Fire tender was called and the firemen extinguished the fire and saved other shops. Short circuit is said to be the reason behind the incident but police has registered a case for investigation. It was second such incident of fire in last 12 hours in Mendhar town.
