UDHAMPUR, Jan 1: A shopkeeper was found hanging in his shop at Chenani Udhampur district today.
According to the police report, Vikas Kumar Gupta (35) son of Late Ram Rattan Gupta resident of ward Number 6, Chenani, was found hanging at his cosmetic shop this evening at about 6pm.
Locals who saw him hanged immediately called the Police and SHO Chenani Inspector Jaswinder Singh rushed to the spot with a police team and took the dead body in their custody. It was placed at CHC Chenani for the postmortem.
Chenani police registered the case for investigation.
