BHADERWAH, May 16: Police today arrested a shopkeeper along with 10 pouches and 1.5 litres of illicit liquor from Mandir Bazaar here.
As per police sources, a police team from Bhaderwah police station conducted a raid in a shop at Mandir Bazaar owned by Jaswinder Singh, son of Yashpal Singh of Saraf Mohalla.
During search, police recovered 10 pouches and 1.5 litres of illicit liquor and arrested the shopkeeper.
The accused use to sell illicit liquor among the masses to gain illegitimate gains.
In this connection a case under FIR number 54/14 under Section 48-A Excise Act has been registered at Bhaderwah police station and investigation started.
