DODA, June 11: Shortage of drinking water has irked the residents living in ST Basti Dadhar area of Bhellessa of this district.
Residents while speaking to the EXCELSIOR said that they are facing manifold problems due to shortage of drinking water.
Despite regular pleas to the Jal Shakti Department, nothing has been done for the residents to overcome the problems arising due to shortage of drinking water, they added.
A social activist and Member of Ward Farid Ahmed along with Mohammad Dalmir said that they approached District Administration and officials of Jal Shakti Department several times for providing adequate drinking water but nothing has been done till today.
The residents have appealed to the District Administration to redress the water shortage issue in the shortest possible time so that people of this area could have sigh of relief.
