SRINAGAR, June 2: Government today said the State Human Rights Commission (SHRC) and State Backward Commission (SBC) are operating without Chairpersons.
In a written reply to a question of MLA Raja Manzoor Ahmad in Lower House, the Minister Incharge said both the positions are lying vacant due to completion of the term of the former Chairperson of State Commission for Backward Classes and the State Human Rights Commission.
