Shree Ganesh Mahotsav Yagya to be held at Laxmi Narayan temple

JAMMU, June 11: Shree Ganesh Mahotsav Yagya which was earlier being held at Parade Ground will be solemnized at Laxmi Narayan Temple Gandhi Nagar from September 5 to 15 this year.
This was stated by Acharya Sanjay Shastri, Chairman Bharatiya Vedic Sansthan, Jammu while talking to reporters along with Jugal Kishore Sharma, Ex MLC and senior Congress leader, Rakesh Chopra, Ramesh Badyal, Raj Pal Sharma and Pardeep Vaid here today.
He said on the concluding day of the Yagya i.e September 15 a Shobha Yatra will proceed from Laxmi Naryan Temple Gandhi Nagar to Akhnoor to immerse the idols of Lord Ganesha in River Chander Bagha (Chenab).
During the press conference Vinayak Vandna Magazine based on Lord Ganesh and Hindu philosophy was released. The magazine will be distributed free of cost among people.
