JAMMU, Mar 28: Shree Guru Ravidass Vishav Mahapeeth, under the leadership of Dushyant Kumar Gautam (International president and former MP), announced the formation of its state-level body in Jammu and Kashmir.
The organization, which aims to propagate the teachings of Guru Ravidass, seeks to expand its outreach by establishing district, tehsil, block, panchayat, and village-level units across the region.
The event was attended by key office bearers, including Atma Ram Parmar, Deputy Speaker of the Gujarat Legislative Assembly, Surjit Kumar, National president and Jeet Angral, National secretary.
The newly formed state body comprises Pt Ashok Kumar as president, with vice presidents Yashpal Shivgotra, Subash Chander, Sham Bassan, Parvesh Kalsi, Parshotam Thapa, Darshan Angral, Ganga Devi, Pooja Devi, Varsha Rani, and Des Raj. The team of secretaries includes Preeti Devi, Geeta Devi, Garo Devi, Vandana Devi, Deepak Kumar, Swarn Dass, Bodh Raj, Rangesh Hans, Pawan Shivgotra, Sanjeev Kumar Uttama, and Vinod Chander. The key office bearers also include Kastoori Lal as cashier, Tarun Angral as media secretary, Ankush Bandhotra as office secretary, and Arun Singh as publicity secretary.
The executive committee features several members dedicated to furthering the organization’s mission, including Hari Chand, Rattan Chand, Bishan Dass, Koki Devi, Madan Lal, Hans Raj, Sushma Devi, Sashi Devi, Pawan Kumar, Bansi Lal, Girdari Lal, Tara Chand, Surinder Gorkha, Upinder Kumar, Surdarshan Kumar, Darshan Gorkha, Balbir Lal, Joginder, Akash Angral, Kamal Jeet, Rattan Lal, Kamal Angral, Tilak Raj Chadgal, Inderjeet Angurna, and Jia Lal.
Several prominent speakers addressed the gathering, including Pt Ashok Kumar, K K Digra, Ramesh Lal, Parshotam Thapa and Ganga Devi.
The formation of the state body marks a significant step in furthering message of Guru Ravi Dass across J&K.
