JAMMU, Oct 12: Shri Chandika Devi Asthapan Tengpona Pulwama has demanded that the idol of Mahishasuramardini which was stolen from the temple in Tenpona village in 1990 and taken to Germany be handed over to the Asthapan which has decided to construct a temple for the same.
It said as the idol belongs to the Hindu Biradri of the village so it be handed over to them. The biradri members have also expressed their compliments to Germany Embassy for handing over the idol of Goddess to Indian Embassy.
