JAMMU, Dec 2: Shri Geeta Jayanti was celebrated by Jammu and Kashmir Gao Raksha Samiti in Gao Shala Bhawan Ambphalla Here today.
Prof Hari Narayan Tiwari was the chief guest on the occasion, while V Santosh Kumar was special guest and I D Soni State Commissioner of J&K BS&G was the special invitee.
Dr S K Sharma president of the Samiti in his welcome address highlighted the significance of the day.
The guests also threw light on the teachings of Shrimad Bhagwat Gita and usefulness of Panch Gavya.
The vote of thanks was proposed by Dr S K Sharma. The function culminated with Aarti followed by serving of prashad to participants.
