JAMMU, Apr 27: Shri Sanatan Dharam Sabha has demanded CBI enquiry not only in Rassana murder case but also in illegal settlement of Rohingyas in Jammu and encroachment of forests by tribals.
The demand was raised by Bodh Raj Sharma, president, Shri Sanatan Dharam Sabha, Geeta Bhawan, Parade, Jammu, during a press conference and interaction with the media persons, here today.
He accused the State Government of dividing people of different communities hitherto known for living in cordial and harmonious manner since decades. “Due to mischievous handling of the Kashmir crisis by the State Government, the Valley has been thrust to devastating fire and now on the PDP/ BJP is playing a dangerous game on the issue of deceased innocent girl with the tacit intention to create atmosphere of communal clashes between two communities,” he alleged
He further alleged that many foreign forces were trying to destabilize Jammu Kashmir State, particularly Jammu region, for which lot of fund has came from ISI, Pakistan, Islamic countries. “All this money is being used to communalize the situation and for creating the disturbances in the State by Hurriyat leaders and anti national elements and to set the State on fire,” he added.
Sharma reiterated that the Govt should honour the public sentiment and order a CBI probe so as to identify the actual culprits, without fear or favour, and to accord them exemplary punishment. “Give death penalty to those who are the culprits, but harassment of innocents under the garb of enquiry was something that had sparked massive outrage not only in Kathua but other districts as well,” he explained.
Parbhat Singh, general secretary of SSDS demanded deportation of Rohingyas and Bangladeshies settled illegally in and around Jammu. “They are a grave threat to the national security as J&K is a border State. Moreover huge migration from Kashmir and other States, Jammu is flooded with refugees, including anti social elements. Their deportation is in the interest of whole State. They have occupied thousand acres of forest and Government land in the outskirt of the Jammu city with the active support of local administration and neglect of BJP-PDP Coalition Govt,” he alleged.
Jagdish Sharma, senior vice president SSDS, Dalip Gupta. Sat Pal Rathore and others were also present in the press conference.
