Shrine Board employees among 8 injured in road mishaps

REASI, July 16: Four employees of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board among eight persons were injured in two different road accidents, here today.
Reports said that five persons were injured when a load carrier (JK20A-2296) met with an accident at Tarakot track near Langar point. The load carrier was coming from Bhawan towards Katra, when it rammed into a pole due to brake failure, resulting into injuries to four employees of the Shrine Board and driver of the vehicle.
The injured were shifted to Narayana Hospital Kakryal and they were identified as Vishal Sharma (44), son of Gopal Sharma, resident of Kanna-Chargal Jammu, Pratap Singh (45), son of Keshar Singh of Chamba Katra (Driver), Ramesh (42), son of Sansar of Panasa Reasi, Ajay Bharti (57), son of Rattan Gopal Khajuria of Dhar Road Udhampur and Kuldeep Kumar (53), son of Kripa Ram of Sudhmahadev Udhampur.
Meanwhile, in another road accident, three persons were injured when a Tata Sumo fell into a deep gorge at Jogni Dhar, Pattian on Gund Morh to Upper Judda road.
The sumo was going from Chillad to Dharmari. The injured were identified as Abdul Gani Mir (driver), Mahfooz and Saima. All residents of Chillad. They were shifted to CHC Arnas and their condition was stated to be stable.
