KATRA, Dec 23: Shrine Board Employees Union Katra has criticized the Board Management for ignoring burning issues of the employees.
In a meeting of the Union held here today under the leadership of its president Raj Kumar, the members discussed their issues in detail. General secretary Parshotam Singh said that when this Board was established by then Governor Jagmohan, Bye-laws were also enacted for the employees of the Board and their welfare. Time Bound promotion policy was also framed. But some senior officers, in order to accommodate and favour their blue eyed people, changed the bye-laws. Many employees are facing victimization due to this policy of favouritism, he maintained.
They demanded that pay anomalies be removed, time bound promotions be ensured and Board must give attention towards the welfare of its employees. They sought the intervention of Chairman of the Board (Governor N N Vohra) and Chief Executive Officer.
