There have been reports that the militants operating from Pakistan and PoJK have been instigating/radicalizing certain youth in Jammu region to take up militant activities by planting IEDs and throwing grenades. However, most of such modules have been busted by police, SIA and other agencies with the help of Intelligence sleuths across the region.
Inputs suggested that apart from twin border districts of Rajouri and Poonch, the militants are planning to revive militancy in Doda and Kishtwar districts besides targeting Jammu City with IEDs and grenades.
