KATRA, Jan 9: Former cricketer and senior BJP leader Navjot Singh Siddhu is staying at Mata Vaishno Devi Bhawan for the last three days and has been seeking blessings of the Goddess by daily attending the two-time Aarti inside the holy shrine.
Reports said that Siddhu, who reached here on Tuesday night, has been staying at Sridhar Sabha in the Bhawan. He has been attending the daily two-time Aarti inside as well as outside the holy cave shrine after making payment for the same. Siddhu is not accompanied by his family members but two friends, one of whom returned home today, sources said without elaborating more.
Even as Siddhu has performed Mata Vaishno Devi pilgrimage several times earlier also, his continuous stay at the Bhawan for three days and participation in the daily Aarti is surprising many and triggering speculations of some wish from the Goddess.
