JAMMU, Jan 2: A team of Archives & Heritage Department headed by K. K. Sidha, Director Archives conducted a survey of Tirath Raj Kapal Mochan (TRKM), Nagbal and Ram Mandir Thakurdwan Shopian to assess the damage and possible improvement and restoration of these heritage centers and the ancient temples.
Deputy Commissioner, Shopian, Mohammad. Shahid Saleem Dar along with ADC, ACR and R&B officers accompanied K. K. Sidha during the visit.
The officers made on the spot recommendations. TRKM management and Joginder Singh from Saidpora were also present on the occasion.
TRKM Management headed by Ashok Sathoo complimented K K Sidha, and DC. Shopian and his team for their concern and favourable recommendations. They expressed the hope that the renovation works for reviving the cultural heritage of these temples is taken up in hand at the earliest by the Government.
