Sikh bodies seek probe into death of Dr Bhopinder

JAMMU, Mar 4: Various Sikh bodies have demanded probe into the mysterious and negligent death of senior doctor Bhopinder Singh who was first declared as swine flu patient and later shown H1N1 negative.
In a meeting of  various Sikh bodies including Sikh Intellectual Circle, Shiromani Akali Dal ( Badal), DGPC Jammu, Sikh Progressive Front held under the chairmanship of T S Wazir ( Ex-MLC), the members demanded a judicial probe into the mysterious death of  Dr Bhopinder. They alleged that Jammu doctors gave the contradictory and confusing statements and the Medical department has raised serious question on the credibility of doctors attending Dr Bhopinder Singh.
The members also chalked out strategy for justice highlighting the negligence  and failure of Medical department to tackle the case. They urged upon the State authorities to order a judicial probe into the matter and fix responsibility on the people attending the medico.
Prominent among others present in the meeting included Dalip Singh, Attar Singh, Jaspal Singh Mangal, Jathedar Mohinder Singh, H S Raina and Narinder Singh Khalsa.
