Sikh Forum highlights demands

JAMMU, Apr 20: All J&K Sikh Unity Forum today held a meeting under the chairmanship of convener, Rajinder Singh to highlight the burning demands of the Sikh minority community.
The meeting criticized the State Government for its discrimination with Sikh community and alleged that even after approaching number of times to the Government representatives, nothing has been done to solve their long pending demands, which included implementation of Ansari Commission report of 1989 riots and regularization of Punjabi subject in Government schools.
The speakers also condemned the State Government for completely ignoring Sikh candidates while recommending the name of seven High Court Judges.
They said that if the Government failed to fulfill their demands they will have to come on roads to get their demands fulfilled from the Government.
Gurdeep Singh, Gurmeet Singh, Balwant Singh, Manohar Singh, Tajinder Singh, and Jasmeet Singh were among others who attended the meeting.
