Sikh leaders appeal community to cast vote in favour of BJP candidates

JAMMU, Apr 9: BJP Sikh leaders have appealed to their community to cast their vote in favour of BJP candidates Jugal Kishore Sharma Jammu-Poonch and Dr. Jitendra Singh Udhampur-Doda-Kathua Parliamentary seat without any fear.
This was stated by Swarnjeet Singh while interacting with media persons here today.
Swaranjeet Singh said that it is the BJP party who has given the justice to the 1984 of Sikh genocide victims for the last 34 years.
“Congress has given shelter to the killers of innocent Sikhs. But when Narendra Modi Government came into office in the year of 2014, they constituted a SIT and opened all the dead cases which were deliberately buried by the influence of Congress regime with the sincere efforts of Narendra Modi about 150 criminal cases re-opened and now as a result, person like Sajan Kumar, a big fish was put into life sentence and Yashpal was ordered to be hanged”, he said.
“The further trail of other killer like Jagdish Titler is under trial and we hope very soon he will be put behind the bar”, he added.
While answering question raised by the self style and western interested Sikh bodies that no Sikh candidates is in the list of BJP MP candidates, he said that SS Ahluwalia is contesting from West Bengal. Further in the recent cabinet, there are three Sikh Ministers namely Hardeep Singh Puri, SS Ahluwalia and Harsimrat Kour Badal.
“We can say only the false promises were made by the successive Governments of Congress which Narendra Modi have made in practical”, he said and appealed to the Sikh community of J&K keeping in view the mass genocide of Sikhs in 1984 and brutal attack on Harminder Sahib and Akal Takhrt Sahib Amritsar, no true Sikh follower of Guru Nanak Devji and Guru Gobind Singh Sahib will cast their vote in favour of Congress party.
