Sikh organizations demand action against criminal

JAMMU, Oct 27: Various Sikh organizations have expressed their serious concern over alleged Police attempts to shield criminal activities of Ranjodh Singh Nalwa who wanted to kill Surinder Singh Kala, convener of J&K Motor Transport Company Association Jammu and main witness in Chopra murder case.
In this connection, an emergency meeting of these Sikh organizations, including Sikh United Front, Bhai Kanaya Nishkam Sewa Society J&K, All India Sikh Students Federation, Sikh Welfare Society and Sikh Naujawan Sabha, was held under the chairmanship of S Mohinder Singh, chief organizer, Bhai Kanaya Nisham Sewa Society, J&K and ex-member, DGPC Jammu.
The meet  strongly condemned some self styled leaders of Shiromani Akali Dal (Badal) and Akali Dal Maan, Amritsar,  for their alleged misinformation campaign in connection with the firing incident in the District Court Complex Jammu on October 6, 2015.
“History sheeter Ranjodh Singh wanted to murder Surinder Singh Kala, who is main witness in the Chopra murder case,” they alleged and added that under a well planned conspiracy, PSO of Surinder Singh Kala was withdrawn by the SSP, Jammu.
The Sikh organizations appealed Chief Minister Mufti Mohd Sayeed to take action against the erring Police officer and get PSA slapped on Ranjodh Singh Nalwa, who is    already involved in 10 murder cases. The CM was also appealed to ensure adequate security to Surinder Singh Kala and his family by providing them PSOs.
Those who attended the meeting, included Paramjit Singh, Kulwant Singh, Manmohan Singh, Harpal Singh Prince, Rajinder Singh, Gurdev Singh, Parveen Singh, Tej Pal Singh, Kuldeep Singh, Kapoor Singh, Surjit Singh Kukoo, Sukhdev Singh and others.
