Sikh Sangat to take out Nagar Kirtan on Guru Gobind Singh’s birth anniversary

JAMMU, Dec 27: The Sikh Sangat of Blocks Bhalwal, Marh, and surrounding rural areas will celebrate the 358th birth anniversary of the 10th Sikh Guru, Guru Gobind Singh, on December 29 (Sunday).
In honour of this occasion, a Vishal Nagar Kirtan will be organized.
Addressing media persons here, the Nagar Kirtan Committee members said the Nagar Kirtan will begin at 10:30 am from Gurudwara Singh Sabha Batehra (Bhalwal) and will conclude at Gurudwara Dashmesh Darbar Dyaran (Bhalwal) Jammu at 2:30 pm.
They invited devotees from all over Jammu to join the procession and seek blessings from Sri Guru Granth Sahib.
Every year, on this auspicious day, the Sangat pays homage by singing Shabad Gurbani led by Ragis and religious preachers.
The program aimed to promote unity in diversity, and all are encouraged to participate in this sacred event.
Prominent community members who were present during the press conference were Mohinder Singh, former DGPC member, Kulwant Singh, Gurparshad Singh, and Tajinder Singh.
