Bengaluru, Dec 17: South India Ladakh Student Association (SILSA) has organised a peaceful protest for inclusion of Ladakh under 6th schedule of Indian Constitution.
There are growing concerns among Ladakhi people towards protection of land, cultural identity and job reservations.
The students showed solidarity with the students of Leh Ladakh who are on hunger strike and also supported students in Jammu, Chandigarh and Delhi for the same cause.
The Student association President Rigzen Tsewang also appealed Member of Parliament Jamyang Tsering Namgyal to take appropriate steps in this regard and according to the aspirations of Ladakhi people.
Students from both Leh and Kargil jointly took the peaceful march protest holding placard on the streets of Bengaluru.
