REASI, June 13: The General Manager, Salal Power Station Jyotipuram, Reasi has asked the people of the area not to venture near Chenab river on June 14 and 15 in view of periodical silt flushing from the reservoir.
For silt flushing from reservoir at Salal Power Station the gates will be opened on June 14, 8.00 A.M. to June 15, 8.00 AM. Due to this, there will be increase in flow of water and level of river Chenab may increase.
Therefore, the general public has been advised to take proper care while moving near banks of river Chenab during this period.
