Simbal Galla village without school

KALAKOTE, June 18: The children from remote Simbal Galla village in Mogla area of  Kalakote tehsil in district Rajouri is still without school since 1947.
About 50 children from this area have to cover nearly  3 to 4 kms distance to reach nearby Govt Middle School at Saroon or Gulabgarh or Akhar. The people of this area have strong demand to set up at least a Primary School there. Even the issue was taken up with the MLA Kalakote Rachhpal Singh and CEO Rajouri, but nothing has happened in this regard so far.
ZEO Mogla claimed to have forwarded a proposal in this regard to Rajouri office of CEO but it never reached the Directorate at Jammu for establishment of a school at this village, said Mohan Lal a local of the area. He said many people from Simbal Galla do not send their girls for getting education as the schools are far away. He sought the intervention of DyCM in this regard.
