JAMMU, Oct 17: The Jammu and Kashmir Forest, Ecology & Environment Department has appointed BK Singh, PCCF & HoFF, as an Inquiry Officer (IO), to conduct an inquiry into the alleged irregularities in the disbursement of salaries to an IFS officer.

As per an order, the inquiry will focus on the salary payments made to Mohan Choudhary, IFS, posted in the Ladakh segment for the period of October and November, 2023.
The order further said that Dr MK Kumar, Chief Conservator of Forests, Jammu, will act as the Presenting Officer in the case. He is asked to submit a detailed report with recommendations within 30 days.
