Singh flags off Tata Mori Express from Vijaypur

Former Minister Manjit Singh flagging off Tata Mori Express from Vijaypur on Saturday.

JAMMU, Oct 5: Former Minister and senior Congress leader Manjit Singh today flagged off Tata Mori Express for Tata Nagar from Vijaypur.
Singh was accompanied by the citizens, locals and Railway officials, when he showed green flag to Tata Mori Express from the railway’s new halting point—Vijaypur for its further destination.
Speaking on the occasion, Manjit Singh demanded that there is a need for the construction of flyover at Ghura Morh crossing on the Gura-Utterbani road. Referring to the demands of the people, he said, that the Union Railway Minister should also look into the demand of halting Hemkunt Express in Vijaypur as a large number of people go there besides opening a reservation counter.
For reservation, he said, the people have to go Railway Station Jammu and if the Union Government accepts the demand it would provide relief to a large number of people who have been facing hardships in the absence of the facility in Vijaypur.
Among others present were Railway Manager Choudhary Seva Ram, Babal Gupta, Karam Chand Sharma, Chairman Vijaypur Muncipal Committee Narotum Singh, Vijaypur Beopar Mandal President, Bharat Bushan, Sarpanch Vijaypur Sham Lal Bhagat, etc.
