JAMMU, June 18: Gurinder Jit Singh today took over as new Inspector General of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Jammu.
The 1967-batch officer, Gurinder Jit Singh joined CRPF as Assistant Commandant in the year 1976. During his 36 years of service, he has served in almost every sensitive State of the country. He has already served for six years in Jammu and Kashmir in different capacities. He has been posted as IG Jammu CRPF on promotion.
