JAMMU, Oct 28: Prominent social worker and SSP (Rtd) Bhupinder Singh visited Sai, Gharani, Gharana, Sarai, Gulabgarh Basti, Suchetgarh, Bolli-Chak, Badyal Bhramana and Fatehpur Salariya areas of Suchetgarh constituency and interacted with the people.
During interaction, villagers raised various issues like unemployment, delay in provision of State Subject Certificates, character certificates and unmarried certificates, which are required to participate in the special recruitment rally of the Army scheduled to be held on October 3 at Nagrota.
“As the official machinery is engaged in election process, the youngsters are worried about participation in the recruitment rally for want of these certificates despite the fact that rally is an opportunity for the youth to join Army”, Mr Singh said.
He assured the youth that he will take up their issues with the concerned authorities for immediate redressal.
