JAMMU, Mar 14: Madhav Singhania was declared as Chairman and Sunjay Kapur, as Deputy Chairman of CII Northern Region for the term 2024-25 today.
The proficient incumbents were elected during the first meeting of the newly elected Regional Council members. Singhania is the Deputy Managing Director CEO of JK Cement Ltd, a US$ 3.5-billion enterprise listed on the NSE. He is on the Board of Management of Sir Padampat Singhania University, Udaipur which is one of the top Engineering & Management schools in Rajasthan.
Sunjay Kapur is the Chairman of Sona BLW Precision Forgings Limited (Sona Comstar), one of the world’s leading mobility technology companies. Sona Comstar was founded in 1995 and is headquartered in Gurugram, India. It is a global supplier with nine manufacturing and assembly facilities, R&D centres and engineering capability centres across India, USA, Serbia, Mexico, and China. It is listed on BSE Ltd and the National Stock Exchange of India Ltd.
