DODA, Jan 2: Police here today constituted a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to probe the mysterious deaths of three persons who were found dead in a hotel room in Bhaderwah last night.
Sources informed that the SIT was constituted by SSP Doda, Sandeep Mehta with Additional SP Bhaderwah as its In-charge while the SIT will also include other professional police officers to ascertain the actual cause of death and to rule out any foul play.
The three dead persons whose bodies were found were Ashutosh Rana, son of Dilip Singh, resident of Bhella, District Doda, at present Purkhoo, Jammu; Mukesh Singh, son of Kuldeep Singh, resident of Domana, Jammu and Sunny Choudhary, son of Subash Choudhary, resident of Bhawani, Nowshera, at present Purkhoo, Jammu.

Sources informed that the deceased persons were staying at Royal Inn Guest House, Bhaderwah which is opposite to the Maruti Showroom and they were not responding to the continuous knocks by the hotel staff and phone calls from their family members.
On this, police was informed and cops led by SHO Bhaderwah, Inspector Sandeep Parihar reached the spot and broke open the door of the room and found the trio lying unconscious in the room.
After this, FSL and medical teams were called upon immediately and the trio was declared dead by the medical team.
Police and FSL teams minutely examined the spot in the presence of SSP Doda, Sandeep Mehta, Additional SP Vinod Sharma, SDPO Bhaderwah, Wasim Hamdani and EMIC Bhaderwah, Parampreet Singh who were also camping on the spot.
A medical board was constituted to conduct the post-mortem of the deceased.
In this regard, inquest proceedings under Section 194 BNS were initiated.
