JAMMU, Sept 30: Six-day Ayurvedic medical camp began today at Shri Lakshmi Narayan Temple, Gandhi Nagar complex.
The camp is being organized by Jammu Institute of Ayurveda & Research, Nardani, Jammu in association with Shri Lakshmi Narayan Mandir Management Trust, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu.
Gulchain Singh Charak, former Minister and president of the Trust, inaugurated the camp. A team of doctors comprising Dr Ankush Bhardwaj, Associate Professor, Dr Sukhpreet Kour, Assistant Professor, Dr Manika Gupta, Associate Professor along with other doctors are conducting the camp.
Today, on first day of the camp, a large number of patients were examined by the team of doctors, who also provided free medicines to the needed patients.
SC Rekhi, secretary, other trustees and special invitees including Shankar Singh, Prithvi Raj Vaid, Prem Sharma, Kulbhushan Bali and PC Gupta were also present on the occasion.
