UDHAMPUR, July 23: Police arrested six gamblers from Christian Colony and seized bet money from their possession.
Reports said that SHO Udhampur Deepak Jasrotia along with a Police party conducted raid at Christian Colony Udhampur and arrested six gamblers. The accused were identified as Channa Singh of Shiv Nagar, Girdhari Lal of Panchari, Rakesh Kumar, of Omara Morh, Bodh Raj of Dndayal, Mushtaq of Indira Colony, Udhampur and Raman Kumar of Head Post Office, Udhampur.
From the possession of accused, bet money of Rs 28,390 was seized by police, which registered a case in this connection.
