Six injured in road accidents

JAMMU, Apr 6: Six persons including an aged lady were injured in separate road accidents in city and its outskirts.
According to a police spokesperson, two bike-borne men were injured when the bike on which they were travelling, was hit by a car at Sidhra area of city outskirts. The injured have been identified as Pawan Raina (45) son of Sham Lal Raina and Sanjay Raina (45) son of Kashi Nath, both residents of Jagti, Nagrota.
Two persons were also injured in a collision of a bike and a car at Bhagwati Nagar. They have been identified as Tarsem Lal (50) son of Hans Lal and Jarnail Singh (50) son of Dewan Singh, both residents of Gho Manhasan.
In Barnai area near Nakul Palace, an unknown vehicle hit and injured a pedestrian identified as Kamla Devi (60) wife of Jagdish Chand, a resident of Lower Barnai. In same area, a man identified as Parshotam Lal (37) son of Om Prakash, a resident of Nagbani, suffered injuries when the bike he was riding on got slipped.
All the injured were shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Jammu for treatment. In all cases, the concerned police have taken cognizance.
